Today is Giving Tuesday and Montco SAAC would like to share our appreciation for your support today and every day. As you know, Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity. Radical generosity can include so many wonderful actions such as volunteering your time, providing a monetary gift of support, or simply spreading the word about our work. Any gift that you can give ensures that we can continue with our vision of creating communities that value all generations.
We rely on the generosity of our community supporters and volunteers to:
· Keep our three Meals on Wheels program in operation;
· Support the operation and maintenance of our two senior centers located in Ambler and Norristown;
· Provide daily nutritious meals at both of our centers;
· Offer a variety of offer educational programming, nutrition programming, fitness classes, art classes, and on-site social workers
Lastly, your support means that older adults can maintain independent and enriched lives. Gifts from the community are vital in continuing to offer a comfortable space, classes and education for our members who might otherwise find it difficult to find.
