Montco SAAC Centers

Montco SAAC operates two vibrant senior community centers in Ambler and Norristown, each offering a full range of programs designed to support active, engaged, and creative living for adults age 50 and older.

For more than 60 years, Montco SAAC has been a trusted community resource, providing peace of mind and essential services to older adults across Montgomery County. What began in 1965 as a place for seniors to share a warm, nutritious meal has evolved into a hub of lifelong learning, creativity, and connection.

Today, Montco SAAC is much more than bingo and congregate lunches. Our centers feature group and individual fitness opportunities, engaging arts and music programs that inspire creativity, lifelong learning classes, volunteer and inter-generational experiences, and on-site social workers who connect members to the resources and supports they need. Each center is a welcoming community that encourages older adults to stay active, healthy, and socially connected in every stage of aging.
