Service Description
Instructor: Ann Ransford 6 Weeks Time: Wednesday, 9:00am to 11:30am Cost: $265.00 Location: Ambler Art Center Have you always wanted to try making your own stained-glass pieces? This class is perfect for the students who want to learn the fundamentals of the copper foil technique. You will be provided with a selection of patterns and learn how to cut glass, wrap each piece with copper foil, and solder your work. The instructor will take you step by step through this process. Please note: Students will need to purchase their glass and tools for this class. See the material list for the required tools. Material list for your first class: Toolbox or bag 5 sheets glass (12" x 12") color of your choice 1 sheet clear glass to practice cutting Glass cutter wax pencil Safety glasses 12” x 18” board to work on (I'll have this if you don't bring one) We will discuss these additional tools in our first class: Glass pliers Plastic fid 2” paint brush 60/40 solder 1 lb spool Soldering iron Copper foil Limited supplies available at Michael's. Cancellation Policy
Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a class must be cancelled. When that happens, we will be happy to credit you for another class or a different session throughout the year. This credit will be good for one (1) year and can be used for any class that has availability and space. If you cancel with two week's notice before the first session, you will receive a credit good for one (1) year that can be applied to a future class.
