Instructor: Jamie Lomas 7 Weeks Time: Wednesday, 6:00pm to 8:30pm Cost: $345.00 Location: Ambler Art Center This class is designed to provide a relaxed, supportive environment where students can learn on the pottery wheel while exploring their creativity. Emphasis is placed on skill development, craftsmanship, experimentation and enjoying the creative process. Demonstrations begin each class, followed by guided practice. Basic forms on the wheel will be emphasized. Students will work at their own pace while receiving individualized instruction. There will be an additional $35.00 clay and glaze fee paid to the instructor at the beginning of class. Bring an apron and come have fun. BIO Jamie Lomas is a passionate Art Teacher and Art Therapy Practitioner certificate holder with a Master’s degree and over 11 years of experience inspiring students through diverse art forms. She was honored as the Lee County Middle School Art Teacher of the Year in 2013. Skilled in integrating technology, art history, and individualized instruction with engaging project-based lessons.
