Instructor: Vivian Eng 7 Weeks Time: Tuesday, 6:00pm to 8:30pm Cost: $335.00 Location: Ambler Art Center Join our inclusive studio space for hand building ceramics for a relaxing and fun time! Learn hand building techniques, their origins, and tap into your creative mind. Create wind chimes, toothbrush holders, mosaic shelf tiles, and more! Relax and let your hands and heart help add spark into your home. There will be an additional $35.00 clay and glaze fee paid to the instructor at the beginning of class. Bring an apron and your creativity! Vivian Eng graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a BFA in art education and museum studies. She has worked with students in a wide range of backgrounds and ages throughout the Philadelphia school system, museums, and private workshops. Vivian works in a wide range of art mediums from fiber arts, jewelry, painting, sculpture, and ceramics. She finds joy in cross-curriculum work, especially incorporating science and history. She thinks it is important for people to learn and create art, as it is important to be part of a process that teaches playfulness, skill-building, creativity, problem solving, confidence, trial and error.
