Instructor: Kathy Bohn 8 Weeks Course Dates: Tuesday March 25, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, & 13 Time: 12:30PM-2:30PM Cost: $200 member $215 nonmember Location of Class: ACAA, 45 Forest Ave. Ambler, PA For those who have basic drawing skills and know the concepts related to shape and light, now is your opportunity to explore the finer details of drawing that will help support the different types of painting/drawing you wish to accomplish. Portrait drawing guidelines; Advanced Composition for portraits, still life, and landscapes; Color Theory as related to Tonal Values; and more! Take yourself to the next level of drawing by exploring the different styles of Art over the centuries to help you capture your Artistic Love and Voice! Will it be realism, hyperrealism, abstract, impressionism, abstract expressionism? Supplies needed for the advanced drawing class are: • One 9" x 12" Strathmore Drawing Paper Series 400 pad • Faber Castell 9000 Graphite (12 pencil set -2H, F, H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B, 8B) • Kneaded erasers - 2 • White plastic eraser • 12" ruler • Pencil sharpener • 2 Sandpaper blocks • 2 Art Blending Stumps • One 11" x 14" Foam core board to mount paper • Masking tape • Tracing paper 9” x 12" • Pixiss Proportional Divider Artist Drawing Tool for Artists, Professional Caliper - Michael’s Online
Cancellation Policy
Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a class must be cancelled. When that happens, we will be happy to credit you for another class or a different session throughout the year. This credit will be good for one (1) year and can be used for any class that has availability and space. If you cancel your class after registering and reserving a space, you will receive a partial credit good for one (1) year that can be applied to a future class. All Promo codes and Membership codes must be applied at the time of registration.
