Service Description
Instructor: Bill Ryan 6 Weeks Time: 9:30-12:00PM Course Dates: June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, July 7 Cost: $210 Location of Class: ACAA, 45 Forest Ave. Ambler, PA If you would like to explore the painting techniques of the impressionists, post impressionists, or even the fauves; this class is for you. You’ll learn how they applied paint the way they did and why they chose that method and how pure color can interact to create vibrant and compelling canvases. We will also explore some paints and mediums that will allow for greater blending techniques. If you would like to try painting with a palette knife or other methods of mark making to make interesting textures, we will cover different techniques to achieve this effect. Larger canvases will be encouraged. Supplies needed: Acrylic paints, matte medium, brushes, spray bottle, and canvas. Suggested sizes can be from 11” x 14" up to 16” x 20". 2S26-AAP-BR
Cancellation Policy
Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a class must be cancelled. When that happens, we will be happy to credit you for another class or a different session throughout the year. This credit will be good for one (1) year and can be used for any class that has availability and space. If you cancel with two week's notice before the first session, you will receive a credit good for one (1) year that can be applied to a future class.
