Meals on Wheels at Montco SAAC
Nourishment. Connection. Peace of Mind.
Montco SAAC proudly operates the largest Meals on Wheels program in Montgomery County, delivering over 350 meals each day to older adults who need support. Our program offers more than just food — we provide connection, care, and the ability for seniors to thrive at home.
Thanks to our new partnership with Kremmer’s Community Kitchen, our menus now feature more variety and flexibility, with frequent updates to keep meals fresh and appealing. Each day, recipients receive two nutritious meals designed to support their health and dietary needs.
But Meals on Wheels is more than just a meal. Here’s why so many choose Montco SAAC:
-
Regular wellness checks. Our volunteers provide a friendly face and a daily point of contact, helping spot any issues early.
-
Compassionate connections. Volunteers form meaningful relationships through deliveries and weekly check-in calls.
-
Individualized support. Our Meals on Wheels Coordinators keep detailed case notes to ensure services are responsive and personalized.
-
Peace of mind. If something seems off, like no one answering the door, our team follows up promptly to ensure safety and well-being.
-
Independence at home. With the right support, seniors can stay safely in the comfort of their own homes.
Whether you're looking for support for yourself or someone you love, Montco SAAC is here to help.
To qualify for Meals on Wheels, individuals must be 60 or older and be essentially home bound.
