Instructor: Ann Ransford Day: Wednesday 9:30AM-12:00PM Course Dates: 4 Weeks Wed Nov 15, 29, Dec 6, & 13 Cost: $210 members $225 nonmembers Location of Class: ACAA, 45 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA This 4-week course will cover the basics of wheel throwing and trimming. We’ll concentration on the bowl form and explore 4 different techniques for glazing. As always, this will be a small class with individual attention for each student. This class is for beginners, as well as intermediate potters. All basic tools are included. There will be an additional $20.00 clay and glaze fee paid to the instructor at the beginning of class. About the Instructor Ann Ransford is a graduate of Moore College of Art with a BS in Art Education and a BFA in Sculptural Design. She has taught in the Los Angeles School System, K through 12th grade, as well as teaching privately in her home studio. Ann is a local Ambler artist who creates stained glass pieces, and watercolors and enjoys oil painting, specializing in pet portraits. Refund policy Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a class must be cancelled. When that happens, we will be happy to credit you for another class or a different session throughout the year. This credit will be good for one (1) year and can be used for any class that has availability and space.
