Instructor: Ann Ransford 8 Weeks Course Dates: Tuesday, Jan. 14, 21, 28, Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25, & Mar 4 Time: 9:30AM-12:00 Cost: $340 members $355 nonmembers Location of Class: ACAA, 45 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA Have you always wanted to learn how to throw clay on the potter’s wheel? In this class, you’ll learn about different clay bodies, how to center your clay on the wheel and make bowls and cylinders. With that knowledge, you can expand into making a variety of pieces. You'll learn about trimming and finishing your work. We'll learn about glazes and firing, as well. This will be a small class with individual attention for each student. This class is for beginner potters, but additional projects will be demonstrated for advanced students. There will be an additional $25.00 clay and glaze fee paid to the instructor at the beginning of class.
Cancellation Policy
Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a class must be cancelled. When that happens, we will be happy to credit you for another class or a different session throughout the year. This credit will be good for one (1) year and can be used for any class that has availability and space. If you cancel your class after registering and reserving a space, you will receive a credit good for one (1) year that can be applied to a future class.
