Instructor: Pauline Braun Days: Wednesdays - 12:30PM-3PM Class Dates: 7 weeks, Sept 13, 20, 27, Oct 11, 18, 25, Nov 1 Cost: $170 members $185 nonmembers Location of Class: ACAA, 45 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA This class reviews the basics of color theory, techniques, and design principles. We will utilize photographs for reference material or paint abstractly, depending on your area of interest. Beginners and advanced artists are welcome. About the Instructor In 1980, Pauline started cutting into wood and painting cutouts. She sold her work at craft shows, and so began her art career. Pauline earned an associate degree in Fine Arts from the Montgomery County Community College and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She has taught at numerous local art centers and has won many awards in shows throughout Montgomery County. Pauline served on the board of the Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center, was Director and taught painting at Manayunk Art Center from 2006-2010, and has been teaching at ACAA since 2016. Refund policy Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a class must be cancelled. When that happens, we will be happy to credit you for another class or a different session throughout the year. This credit will be good for one (1) year and can be used for any class that has availability and space.
