Service Description
Instructor: Steve Hunter 8 Weeks Dates: Thursday, March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14 Time: 12:30PM - 3:00PM Cost: $320 Members $335 Non-Members Location of Class: ACAA, 45 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA Students will develop fundamental skills used for working in ceramics with minimal tools, hand building various forms. Projects will showcase these skills. Form, function and seeing the object as a whole, not just the parts, will produce a successful project. Surface detailing and glazing to enhance the items will also be covered. There will be an additional $25.00 clay and glaze fee paid to the instructor at the beginning of class. About the Instructor: Steve Hunter has been a working potter and teacher since 1976. A former art teacher at Wissahickon High School, he is a juried member of the Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen. Working in traditional styles, Steve produces a line of functional stoneware in his studio in West Point, Pennsylvania. His work is sold through studio sales and regional craft fairs. He enjoys teaching students one-on-one as well as working with larger groups 1S26-Hand-SH
Cancellation Policy
Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a class must be cancelled. When that happens, we will be happy to credit you for another class or a different session throughout the year. This credit will be good for one (1) year and can be used for any class that has availability and space. If you cancel your class after registering and reserving a space, you will receive a partial credit good for one (1) year that can be applied to a future class. All Promo codes and Membership codes must be applied at the time of registration.
